I especially recommend Milano for delicate scarves, light sweaters, cardigans, and soft accessories that bring joy all year round. Knitted solo, it creates wonderfully light favorite pieces; knitted double, the yarn takes on a completely different, cozy presence.

I also find Milano particularly beautiful in combination with other qualities. With Lamana Premia, a project gains even more fluff and lightness; together with Como or Modena, beautiful new textures emerge; and with Cusi or Piura, the feel becomes even softer and warmer. I especially like such combinations in my little shop.

Responsibility & Origin

What I particularly appreciate about Lamana is the combination of exceptional quality and responsible production.

The mulesing-free merino wool comes from selected sheep farms in Australia, and the cashmere fiber used comes from Mongolia and China. Milano is spun and dyed in Italy by a family-run traditional business.

The fact that Milano is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class I certified, fits perfectly with a yarn where quality and responsibility come together.

Care instructions from my shop

Hand wash or gentle wool cycle with a mild wool detergent recommended. Then dry flat and gently pull into shape if needed.
