Sustainability
For me, sustainability doesn't mean
being perfect.
It means making conscious decisions.
Choosing carefully.
And treating things with appreciation – instead of getting lost in fast consumption.
That's exactly why you won't find any random mass-produced goods in the Wollboutique, but rather yarns and accessories that I select with great care and deliberation.
It's important to me that wool not only looks beautiful but brings long-lasting joy.
That projects can be created that are worn, used, and loved.
This idea also plays a big role in my dyeing workshop.
Working with plant dyes means for me staying close to the materials and using resources carefully.
For me, this also includes the conscious use of energy, water, and heat in everyday life.
Not working wastefully, appreciating things, and being mindful of what is available to us.
Sustainability also shows itself to me in honest advice.
Because the right wool and the right needle help to avoid impulse purchases and create projects that truly suit you.
I believe that handicrafts can make us more conscious again.
That homemade things contain time, calm, and appreciation.
And that's exactly what I want to convey with the Wollboutique.
Glad you're here ❤
