Bibi's Dyeing Workshop
In my dye workshop, I create yarns that are as unique as the plants with which they are dyed.
Since 2017, I have been dyeing wool with great care, experience, and a deep respect for nature.
I work with plant dyes from blossoms, barks, roots, and other natural materials, which give each dye batch its very own character.
For me, plant dyeing is not just about bringing color to wool.
It also means working with nature, being attentive, and treating the materials with calmness and respect.
No two batches are alike.
Some colors turn out soft and calm, others vibrant and surprising.
And that's precisely what I love so much about it.
Many of my yarns are produced in small quantities and are allowed to develop – without haste and without industrial perfection.
The plant-dyed yarns from my dye workshop are for everyone who loves the special and enjoys natural color palettes.
It's important for me to be honest about this:
Plant-dyed wool is alive. Colors can change slightly over time, excess dye may bleed during the first wash, and each batch tells its own little story.
That's exactly what makes them so special to me.
With great love for craftsmanship, wool, and nature, each yarn is created here piece by piece by hand.
Glad you're here ❤
